Good Old Fashion Hate, Georgia Readies For Georgia Tech

The Panthers closed out their trip to paradise by playing their best game of the season. James Robinson had 14 points and six assists, and Pittsburgh was sharp at both ends to beat Kansas State 70-47 Wednesday in the third-place game of the Maui Invitational. ''That's a very good team, Kansas State, that we beat and we beat it the way we wanted to do it as far as defense, execution on the offensive end and smart play throughout,'' Pitt coach Jamie Dixon said. Inconsistent to start the season, Pittsburgh (4-2) pulled it all together against the Wildcats, working the ball around for good shots inside and out, while limiting Kansas State's chances at the other end. The Panthers shot 55 percent and made 8 of 15 3-pointers after a lackluster shooting performance against No. 15 San Diego State in the semifinals.

We know the Tech and their option attack is tough to stop. For the Dawgs, what more can be said about freshmen Nick Chubb? Seems like every week he does something new that has jaws dropping. But at the end of the day, this is a rivalry that lasts more then the 60 minutes played on Saturday. "Those guys aren't even an hour and a half away so you kind of run into them, cross paths with them a few times a year and it's just, it's even a rivarly off the field." said Mike Thorton "You don't want to lose to those guys." "It gives me a little extra motivaton because you don't want to drive down 75 and see the Georgia-Georgia Tech score that's not in your favor for a whole year so there's a lot of different things that get the blood (visit site) going for this game. In the long run, it's been one sided with Georgia having nearly doubled up the wins and under Mark Richt, they've lost to Tech just once.

"Many customers in Europe still don't have access to the Gap brand," Zalando co-founder David Schneider told Reuters. "We offer a platform to enter 15 markets in local languages, in local currency, with free shipments, returns and so on." Gap, which runs more than 3,500 stores worldwide, is trying to reduce its dependence on the highly competitive North American market and plans to open 40 stores in India at the same time as it strengthens in e-commerce. Digital business head Art Peck is due to take over as chief executive next February after his division's sales grew 21 percent in the 2013 financial year to $2.3 billion, 6 percent of total sales. Gap's bigger European rivals Inditex and H&M are also investing in e-commerce but are focusing on their own sites and are not listed on Zalando. "We have to be where are customers are. Zalando is the most visited fashion e-commerce site in Europe," said Stefan Laban, responsible for Gap's international business. "We want to be one of the biggest brands on the site." E-commerce could grow to 30 percent of total German fashion sales by 2020, from 14 percent in 2012, according to consultancy firm Strategy&.
