'beauty And The Beast': Tom Everett Scott Makes His Cagey Debut (exclusive Photo)

3 episode ("Recipe for Disaster") of The CW drama, Scott plays Sam, an archaeologist with a short fuse who has been in isolation for several years. The Hollywood Reporter exclusively debuts a first-look image of the Southland alum's first appearance, where he is locked up in a prison with a curious expression on his face. It seems being imprisoned hasn't served him well. As the official episode synopsis hints, Sam is someone from FBI Agent Dana Landon's (Elisabeth Rohm) past and may have added insight into Vincent's (Jay Ryan) beastly history. Beauty and the Beast airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.

Beauty Guru: A New Year, a New You (For Real Though)

When I came back, thats when I gave it another go, because Id found out about "plus-size" models,' she said, adding that it's a term she isn't a fan of. 'It puts women down and it puts a label on them,' she said. 'The industry was different [in 2010]. Now everyones nicer; theyve realized it works better' In a recent interview with Clique magazine, the six-foot-two-inch Australian emphasized her bemusement at being considered 'plus-size' - despite being the owner of a toned, healthy body. 'People think plus-size models don't exercise - we do!' she told the magazine. 'But it's about health, not forcing my body to be something it's not meant to be.' She admitted that as a teenager she tried to slim down to satisfy the demands of mainstream modeling, but said that even though she was starving herself, achieving size zero proved impossible.

?The Great Beauty? is worthy foreign feast

Along the way the film provides sharp portraits of characters who have lost their way amid the endless distractions of urban living including a Roman Catholic Cardinal too busy dispensing his favorite recipes to offer spiritual counsel. It's one of many signs in the film of a society white cocktail dress that has come unmoored from its bearings. When I think about it, I find it's quite extravagant the way everyone talks about food, the director said during an interview in Cannes last year. I think this obsession with food has reached people who should deal with the Holy Spirit. I fall into the trap myself, he admitted.

Even beauty companies would reject me for being plus-size: Model Robyn Lawley opens up about her initial struggles in the industry as she stars on the cover of Cosmopolitan

Trying products that don't live up to the hype marketing plays on your pocketbook has been an experience. One that I will treasure and one I have learned from. For all of the women who read about beauty products and enjoy trying new things, I wish you all the best in your quest for the new. Being a woman is an exciting opportunity to try all the goodies made for us in terms of nail polish, nail trends, hair goo, bangs, smoky eyes, naked eyes, mascara, eyeliner, super blushed cheeks, and the always classic red lip. Beauty evolves and trends live and die every day. The best advice I have to any woman in terms of beauty would be to find your style and work it. Don't be afraid to try something new but just remember it may look awful when you do.
